Taste of Charlotte is June 8th – 10th

CHARLOTTE, NC –    Taste of Charlotte is a 3-day festival (June 8-10) featuring food from area restaurants along with live music and entertainment, interactive children’s activities, cooking demos, street performances, unique shopping and a large variety of  local, regional and national partners interacting with festival goers, providing information, coupons and free stuff!

Admission to Taste of Charlotte is FREE.  Purchase festival coins to use for restaurant samples, beverages and kid’s activities.  You can purchase your coins on site at booths located throughout the festival or pre-purchase them before arriving and just pick up at a coin booth! Event hours are 11 am to 11 pm on Friday & Saturday, and 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday.

 

 

Located on Tryon Street in uptown, Taste of Charlotte now spans 6 city blocks from Stonewall to 5th Street.  Enjoy delicious food while strolling the festival experiencing four stages of entertainment, street performances and interactive tours.  Taste of Charlotte truly is a fun, friendly atmosphere for all ages.  Come see for yourself why Taste of Charlotte is a taste of everything Charlotte has to offer.

 

The following street closures will be in place during Taste of Charlotte:

  • Tryon Street between Stonewall and 5th Street beginning Thursday, June 7 at 9 a.m.
  • The cross-streets (Trade Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) between College Street and Church Street beginning Thursday, June 7 at 6:30 p.m. and will reopen from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, June 8 for morning commuters.
  • The cross streets (3rd and 4th Streets) beginning Friday, June 8 at 9 a.m.
  • All streets will reopen by 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 10.
