CHARLOTTE, NC – The 22nd annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is Saturday March 17, 2018 in uptown Charlotte.
The parade begins at 11 am on Tryon St @ 9th St. The parade will take Tryon St. south toward 3rd St. The parade will turn left on 3rd St. and will end at Caldwell St. There’s over 135 entries this year including floats, pipe & drum bands, Irish dancers, musical groups, dancers, lots of dogs, horses, leprechauns, and lots of creative marching groups.

The Charlotte Goes Green Festival is Saturday, March 17 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on South Tryon St. between Stonewall St. and Third St. Event organizers expect 6,000 attendees. The festival is a free event that runs before, during and after the Parade and is a family friendly event featuring live Irish music, Irish dancers, pipe bands, arts and crafts vendors, food and beverages plus children’s activities.
